Artists Statement

My work explores the serendipitous beauty found in the unplanned moments of travel. I aim to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of places, animals and people, often stumbling upon scenes that might otherwise be overlooked. This approach embraces the imperfect, the unexpected, and the fleeting, celebrating the narratives that unfold when one surrenders to the journey itself.

The Journey of Discovery

My photographic process is less about meticulous planning and more about intuitive response. I often find myself drawn to quiet corners, bustling markets, or unexpected architectural details, allowing curiosity to guide my lens. This spontaneous exploration often yields images that are both deeply personal and universally resonant, reflecting a shared human experience.

Embracing Imperfection

The "accidental" in my photography speaks to a deliberate rejection of overly curated or idealized imagery. I am fascinated by the authentic textures of life – the worn facades, the candid expressions, the subtle interplay of light and shadow that define a moment. These imperfections, far from detracting, add depth and character, inviting the viewer to engage with the reality of a place rather than a staged representation.
